Before the main doors open, the competition opens to the traders for entries.

12 Categories available for entries with the most entries in the Single Sci-fi and Single Fantasy categories.

My favorite of the first is the Stormcast Eternal

So, the doors are open and the queue is growing!

We take some time with Peachy from the community to find out how the Painting Competition is going along at Salute.

Historical categories are getting some love today, here is a few snaps of some infantry.

Favorite for me is the crossbowmen with the free-handed shields and Command stand.

The cabinets are filling up and spectators are 2 deep taking a look, so getting crisp photo's isn't as easy as I'd hope... More to come!

So the judges have made their finalist selections for each category, I will post the highlights from each category in separate items 🙂

I think the that Forgeworld models seem to do well... is that because their are nice models that we want to paint well, or highly detailed models that paint themselves?!?

V for victory??

Over 200 entries, with nearly 30 awards for 1st place and runner up, Stefan Johnsson won 7, including best in Show for "The Hunt"

Other highlights were the Father and Daughter combo from the Lifton family, and other multiple winner, Robert Karlsson and Ruben Torregrose.
