NeverRealm Industry Summon Up Fire & Ice Elementals
April 12, 2016 by brennon
NeverRealm Industry are working on a new game called Summoners and, you've guessed it, you will be summoning magical creatures onto the tabletop to do battle. The newest set of creatures summoned from the void are these from the Fire Faction...
There are some fascinating creatures in here and they've done a great job on bringing fire to life in a variety of ways. I really like the two shown in more detail below, the Fire Basilisk and the Lava Ray - both being controlled by their Summoner.
I can imagine these kind of creatures could either be a massive challenge to paint over normal organic creatures or conversely really easy if you just wanted to get the feel of the faction down. All that cracked skin with fire boiling beneath it looks complicated
Ice, Ice, Baby...
As well as the Fire Faction they have previously shown off the Ice Faction too. Here is the Summoner for said faction as well as two of the larger creatures.
I have always been a lot more into the idea of ice over fire in my role-playing games and Fantasy worlds. In Diablo II and in many other games I've always been the one casting ice magic. I really like these creatures seen above with their shard-like limbs floating in the swirling water that forms their main bodies.
Will you be keeping a closer eye on this one?

they all look good especially the fire summoner.
They look nice, my favourite is the Fire summoner
All of those look great and the painting is beautiful. The Lava ray and those two ice creatures are my favourite. This looks promising.
Those fire chaps are at the most jaw-dropping paintjobs I’ve seen this year. The ice chaps are good, but the fire – oh my!
Those are very nice.
Exelent stuff, I dare say that the painter were on fire when he/she did those
I will get my coat and see myself out.
It’s like … fire leopards! Who doesn’t like fire leopards?
