Quarrelsome Heroes & Priests Coming To Salute For SAGA

Gripping Beast have shared two more of their character models coming to Salute this year for SAGA. We have both holy men and warriors who might share some of the aspects of each other hitting the tabletop. Let's start with the awesome looking Ulf The Quarrelsome...
Angry Irishmen
Ulf here was brother (and sometimes described as stepson) to Brian Boru, the High King of Ireland. He was a dangerous individual who brutally killed Brodir from the Isle of Man.
He led Brodir around a tree as his entrails dropped out from his slit open belly. A horrible death but he thought it deserved for the attacks against his kith and kin. Now for a Celtic Priest to calm everyone's nerves.
Priestly Duties
As well as Ulf we have this Celtic Priest who will be joining the warbands of the Irish to help them gather themselves into a fervour for the coming battles.
Here he is with the icon held high and club in hand. No blood should be spilled from a man of the cloth of course but you can still bludgeon a man to death with a big bit of wood.
Both of these are neat looking models and a worthy addition to any fighting force during the Dark Ages. I might even have to consider picking up an Irish warband just to be able to use these. Or I could just chop and change a few bits to fit Ulf into my Viking warband.

Love these, can’t wait to grab one of each.
Bashing someone to death with a club is quite likely to cause bleeding. I’ll never understand the medieval mindset.
Ulf should just be a head swap away from being a Viking
