Fire & Ice Miniatures To Sculpt New 75mm Barbarian
April 3, 2016 by brennon
Fire & Ice Miniatures have begun work on creating a new 75mm Barbarian for hobbyists and painters to get stuck into on the hobby table. You can see her below in two different forms with a demonic face as her other option.
This is a pretty standard looking Barbarian but I think it could prove an awesome way to test our your painting of the likes of fur, hair, weapons and tattoos. You could do some awesome freehand work here.
The demonic face could also prove an interesting challenge where you embrace the blood and guts of the battlefield and splatter her with gore. While she isn't going to be everyone's cup of tea folks do like a good barbarian.
They have also said that they might work on a 32mm version of her too so you could use her on the tabletop.
What do you think?

Sculpt is highly detailed but falls to same trap that so many other female barbarian sculpts have. Style over practical look.
and it’s such a boring / static pose too …
A more dynamic “I’m about to hit you” style would be more fun to look at.
It only falls into “the same trap” because you personally want something else. That only means this mini is not for you. I don’t think it falls into any trap at all and it looks ace.
Are there any female barbarian minis, outside of Bad Squidoo and a scant few others, that aren’t blatant T&A?
Shieldwolf Shieldmaidens.
looks good.
