Antediluvian Go On An Adventure With Dungeon Explorers
April 2, 2016 by brennon
Antediluvian Miniatures have now taken to Kickstarter to fund their Dungeon Explorers range which includes some old school heroes looking for another quest.
As you might have guessed these heroes are based on the old school ones from the Dungeons & Dragons cartoon series. They have aged significantly since then but that could make for a great story in its own right. As well as the heroes they also have the Gnome Illusionist.
Of course you might need some enemies for your heroes to face. They have some plans to bring Pig Orcs to the tabletop too as well as armed with a variety of weapons. Some of them are a little way off but here is the taster.
I think this could make for an excellent range. I like the idea of them developing a proper range of bad guys (and good guys) for your dungeon crawling adventures.
I think you could do something Narnia-like with this range where these heroes, years down the line, have been drawn back to their Fantasy world in order to defeat a new evil.
What do you think?

This looks like a decent punt on KS. The dungeon adventurers certainly could be an entertaining painting challenge. For a £30 pledge you get the seven adventurers and the gnome. I’m not so interested in the pig faced orcs (each to their own) but if more humans, dwarves or elves are added in the D&D flavour in due course… you may get me hooked. Anyhow, looks promising.
like the hero set.
