Have heard nothing but good things about Frostgrave from lots of different people. Must free up some time for it….

I’m in the same boat as you guys, sounds fantastic, just need to free up a little time, get my hands on it and give it a go.
It would make a welcome change from army painting, to small squad painting that’s for sure.

It is one cool game, can be played in less time than D&D or Pathfinder, also the low investment to fun value is second to none.

Open to having floating platforms for your table. I need to get the rule book. I prefer small skirmish games, and this one appeals, I must say.

Can’t recommend this game enough. Entry level is so cheap, most people have enough minis in their collection to put together a warband. You just need the rules

Hello Ladies, Hope you are doing ok, get lots of rest. Don’t forget to have fun, all work no play makes a bad gamer. Some of my friends are thinking of tiring out this game in the fall instead of D&D for the winter season.

I just ordered the rules yesterday. I fancy creating a dwarf warband and am awaiting my Conan Kickstarter to provide a necromancer war band and lots of npc monsters!

Frostgrave deserves to be a real success. It is a great example of giving players what they want. GW, one hopes, sees this and realises that years of letting IPs like Mordheim languish may have been a mistake.

Love this game. It’s so much better painting a small warband than a large army. I’ve re-purposed loads of old fantasy models and terrain and had fun doing it. Probably the easiest and most rewarding entry into a new game system I’ve ever had.

I completely agree with the comments, this game has taken me way back to my teens of playing D&D at my school club.

How about a band of Hobbits, have a nice set of those and think they might be great to use with Frostgrave.

I got the book in the mail yesterday and I’m halfway through it. Can’t wait to try it, hopefully next weekend.

This is one of those games that I really need to make time for, and I see potential to get family and friends who are not gamers into gaming.

Interested. Though may need a lot of structure to my play to begin with so maybe Dungeon Saga would be best fantasy start point for me. (Been a long time since I played Hero Quest.) Great interview.
