Book Six Of Forge World’s Horus Heresy Hits – Retribution
February 13, 2016 by brennon
Welcome to the next steps in the story for the Horus Heresy from Forge World. Here we have Book Six - Retribution which continues the story as the loyalists begin to pursue their traitor brothers and get revenge for what befell them.
"The Horus Heresy Book Six - Retribution continues the unfolding saga of the Horus Heresy. As the fires of total war consume entire worlds and whole Legions clash, away from the front lines the Knights-Errant are abroad too, penetrating the warp storms that afflict the entire galaxy as they carry out a mission bestowed upon them by the very highest authority on distant Terra.
The Shattered Legions pursue bloody vengeance against the hated Traitors, who in turn seek to hunt the Loyalist survivors down no matter where they might seek refuge. Blackshields - orphaned or outcast Legiones Astartes who have renounced their Legions and obscured their heraldry - harbour their own objectives, alone in the darkness, sometimes aligned with the Traitor cause, sometimes the Loyalist, but just as often for their own unknowable ends."
Here's a look inside the book...
The book also comes with rules for forming Legions together into one cohesive fighting force known as a Shattered Legion. You will also find rules for Dark Angels, White Scars and and Blood Angels if those are your armies of choice in the Horus Heresy.
You can also get a collection version of this which comes with Retribution and the Legiones Astartes: Crusade Army List so you have more to work with as you begin building your armies.
Will you be picking this up?

On pre-order as of yesterday.
I do love these Forgeworld Horus Heresy books. They cost an arm and a leg, but you get what you pay for.
As I can never just stick to one colour scheme shattered legions may be the way to go.
I haven’t got near to finishing reading the first five yet but it won’t stop me jumping all over this…
Picked it up last weekend at the HH Weekender, good read so far, continuing in the tradition FW started with Betrayal.
just love the books.
So tempting but has to go down the priority list for now
74£ … not feeding that troll, though im sure they are nice books. Thats way out of line for a book imo.
Not for these books. They are well worth the pricetag if you are a fan of the HH.
I pre ordered the book, along side some primarchs and character minis.
I kinda like the fluff here but still way out of line imo .. not a price tag id like to encourage
Like always that book looks really good.
what a great painting project a Shattered Legion army would make
