Fantasy Flight Games Get Hacking With Android: Mainframe
February 11, 2016 by brennon
Fantasy Flight Games have expanded upon the world of Android with a new board game that looks like it could be a bit of a brain teaser. See what you think of Android: Mainframe...
The game is meant to play in around half an hour and features six different characters to play as (based on some nice alternative art from Netrunner!) which give you alternative ways to play the game.
The idea of the game is that you will be placing access points (represented by the characters portraits) and then you will use programs and more to partition off sections of the board which then score you points for your access points and any files within that part of the server.
As well as the generic programs there are Runner specific ones which allow you to change the board state in some ways and mess with the other players. I think I'd have to give this one a go before I bought into it but it does seem fun!
What do you think?

The artwork looks great as per usual which has me sold already. Gameplay wise looks nice and simple or at least realitivly so and cheap enough that I’ll probably get it when its out.
Does anyone remember the board game ” September “? This seems very similar .
This is a re-theme of an abstract game released in 2013, called Bauhaus. It’s being made by the same designers.
To me it looks a little like an attempt to make a more strategic version of the pen and paper game, Dots and Boxes. Could be interesting.
