to understand the aspect wars you need to understand the the idea of the eldar way of the path first
sky leap when you leve the board is done in the movment phase
yup, and it should have said that on the screen 🙂
also if you take an exarch a cross between a sargent and a sensei then the hole uni gets herald of victory so they don’t scater when they deep strike also why did you not mention intercept where a unit with this rule can hit a flying unit at the end of a movment fase on a 4+
Another great show guys. I am now just waiting for you to look at the Harlequins which should be fun.
interesting vid guys.
I had fun painting my small squad of Swooping Hawks with some metallic to always be ready to make a reference to the Silver Hawks TV show 😛
Huh, I find it mildly amusing to see all the old rules and weapons from when I first started playing 40k returning after they were all stripped out to streamline the game. Plasma and haywire grenades, Blind rule, Graviton weapons… ah nostalgia.
Anyway! Swooping Hawks? Swat them with Bolters! Annoying things 😀
Take an Exarch, and you don’t scatter either. Also, they can move 18″ in the movement phase instead of 12″. Oh, and don’t forget swatting the flyer/flying MC on the way past! 🙂
Harlequins would be great to look into. There are some choice units from that codex that we may visit in these spotlight videos.
I love the comments this week, as most of them can be paraphrased as: actually the swooping hawks are better than described. 🙂
Yeah we missed skyleap in the movement phase. Still worthwhile to get another bomb off, plus with the maelstrom missions you can always be where you are needed.
There’s now a Raven Guard formation (in Kauyon or something like that) which gives your Space Marines’ vanguards vets and assault squads that “jump-out-of-the-board-and-come-back-next-turn-ability” but allows you to disengage from a combat in doing so. Pretty neat!
😀
