Roll Out The Monstrous M7 HMC Priest For Bolt Action
January 11, 2016 by brennon
Warlord Games have rolled out the rather monstrous looking M7 HMC Priest for use by the US and British forces in Bolt Action. If you want some close fire support then this would probably do the trick...
As you can see the M7 Priest was armed to the teeth with a Browning machine gun fixed to the front and more importantly a 105mm howitzer which would be equally good at keeping infantry at bay and worrying the occasional tank too.
The M7 Priest got its name because of the pulpit like design of the machine gun nest. It appears as if the US and British continued to use the M7 throughout the war in various theatres including the Italian and African campaigns which will soon be getting a more coverage in the latest sourcebook from Warlord.
Will you be running one of these?

I was working with grant tanks, as I believe that’s what Priests were adapted from, and there was so much chopping of resin and plasticard scratch-building that I never found the time to finish the project. All that needs doing with this model is to leave the howitzer out and get a sprue of British infantry for the crew. I love the look of Priest Kangaroos, and it’s about time British Bolt Action forces got a… Read more »
