A Fearsome Warrior Has Entered The Battle From Midnight Miniatures
December 14, 2015 by deltagamegirl22
The fellows over at Midnight Miniatures have just released a mighty new warrior, Massive Madness. This huge miniature is scaled for 75mm, but since he's not a human in this range, he towers over the 75mm models at an impressive 105mm!
This guy looks like he walked right off the Lord of the Rings movies, and not you can paint him up as a stunning display piece or perhaps even use him as a giant in your fantasy game.
You're going to be having some fun with the free hand detail you get to work on for the shield!
Will you be painting up this Massive Madness?

So much stuff and so little in the bank. LOL
I hear that one! Curses, shiny syndrome! 😉
It would be really cool to see @elromanozo take on a model like this. It would make for an epic series of videos and I’d really lime to see Romain’s take on a larger scale model.
Like to see, not lime! Damn stupid tiny tablet keyboard and sausage finger combo!
That Orc is very much Warcraft style.
Who? What? Where did these guys come from? That’s a fabulous orc!
Look at the size of it …

He includes two soulder pads. You can see both at http://www.midnight-miniatures.com/epages/ec7720.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/ec7720/Products/MMBW002
I must say great work, but I would go for the 2nd shoulderpad as well
he looks dam good must be a good fighter he wont get mush for his teeth?
Great character in the sculpt
It’s fair to say I’m somewhat late entering this discussion but then I’ve only just received the kit, long OOP, and sadly the company appears to be defunct. The images above are very useful as otherwise I was limited to the ones in the box and enclosed slip. neither of which shows the pauldron clearly. It hadn’t occurred to me that the one shown here was in fact an alternative pauldron, and I hadn’t yet figured out its purpose. (In common with other commenters, I prefer the plain one, which, refreshingly to my mind, lacks even the normally mandatory spike.… Read more »
