Antenocitis Workshop Shows Off Restaurant Terrain Teaser
November 30, 2015 by deltagamegirl22
Antenocitis Workshop has released one view of Happy Panda Noodles on their Facebook page, and it looks AMAZING.
They have really nailed the details with Eastern Flair, with the Pagoda style picnic tables and decor. There's so many different games that a set like this would be great for!
I'm sure we'll be hearing and seeing more it as they say, "soon."
What game would you use terrain like this for?

Always wondered what “Panda Noddles” tasted like…………lmao
“Blade Runner” come`s to mind, or even a “Zombie” game where “Panda`s” raise from the dead to seek revenge……………..There`s “Infinity” where i think it would fit in with the terrain they do.
You haven’t lived until you tasted Panda Noodles. Lol 😉
Coming soon to a Relic Knights table near me if I have my way
Oh good call, Ben!
That looks awesome, if it’s like the forward base buildings then it’s going to be fully detailed inside too.
Darken it down a bit and it goes in the sleezy part of my Infinity games! I love it.
I wonder if they’re going to do some different signs as a group of these together would make a great asian style food court.
That’s a really cute shop they made.
I don’t know what I’d use it for specifically, but I want it. Anachronism be damned, I’d use it on just about any table.
I would use the terrain for Judge Dredd and Batman
That is really cool!
Not sure I like it personally, love antenocitis vehicles but not feeling this. Also not sure why all future cultures for infinity eat noodles (look at warmill etc.).
Finally I would also be a bit concerned as they are kickstartering the range according to their facebook but they still haven’t completed on their last kickstarter at least according to another post and I’m sure that was due to finish in June at the latest.
Who knows though when the full range is out I might be pleasantly surprised.
I guess it’s a combination of the anime influence, and of course Blade Runner (where everyone also eats noodles!) 🙂
I backed their Forward Base KS and last I heard it was due to finish fulfilment early next year. The original timeframe was heavily disrupted by the extended absence of one of the production team due to ill health.
As said, things got delayed by one of the staff being rather ill; these things happen sometimes, and at the end of the day, you’ve got to remember a fair bunch of these companies are relatively small staff-wise.
I’m sure Antenocitis would have loved people to be able to buy the KS stuff before Christmas, but they do seem to have kept people up to date about why delays have happened.
Following the facebook page, there seems to be a bunch of other things in the pipeline; the Capsule Hotel for instance, which looks rather nice.
I just find it all interesting that as a hobby we are fine with the fact that A) the noodle hut is not that original and B) that they would have had to of had six months of sickness to explain the delay. Yet when you talk about other companies people get really angry with unoriginal items, the prime example being games workshop who have an established brand and people on here loose their mind if they bring out another form of Space Marine. With kickstarter we are now talking for wave one over 10 months late if it doesn’t… Read more »
Assuming that people do in fact lose their mind if GW bring out a Space Marine, and of the list of the things that GW get stick for this one seems pretty low down it, then the major difference would be that GW already have a lot of Space Marines, whilst AW don’t have a noodle hut. In fact, noodle hut terrain pieces aren’t particularly common. What we have is a trope, rather than a retread, and not one which is particularly well-served in the wargaming terrain market. There are many many other terrain pieces that could be accused of… Read more »
Well firstly what you have stated that it is a trope instantly makes it unoriginal, originality is the exact antithesis of a trope. Secondly if you really wanted I can get you links to loads of forum posts, news posts etc. where people are complaining almost as much about the unoriginality of another form of space marine as games workshops prices (well maybe that is an exaggeration games workshops prices are very steep). The information about this being a kickstarter can be found in this link https://www.facebook.com/153539898016993/photos/a.219435201427462.47038.153539898016993/918617618175880/?type=3&theater where Antenociti state “(on some of the new Downtown scenery out to KS… Read more »
It is not that a trope is original. It is that the terrain piece provides a sci-fi trope that is not common amongst currently available terrain. Hence not at all like a Space Marine, which is very common, and in fact desirable amongst those who would like to represent that trope on a sci-fi table. Thank you for the link to the proposed KS date (genuinely, it means I can budget for it). I did not mean to say that Wave Two had to wait until Wave One was finished and in fact I believe Wave Two began fulfilling last… Read more »
Hi azrea – Jed here from Antenocitis. I am afraid that most of your information is woefully incorrect. 1) This isnt going to kickstarter – it’s a retail release (this week. in fact) 2) The staff member who went off ill never returned to work (and is still unable to work almost 12 months later, although he is no longer on our books) 3) It takes 6 months minimum to train somebody to cast resin… most people cant do it to our standards AT ALL. – It is a skilled job, you cant just take somebody off the street and… Read more »
*and appreciate the excellent communication throughout the process that AW have provided.
shame nobody has come up with a naruto game would look great area for a game
I haven’t been to a Nandos since they made me wait 50 mins for my meal (35 mins after my friends got theirs) all the while telling me my meal was on the way before telling me that they’d run out of chicken.
That’s right Nandos tried to get me to believe they’d run of chicken. Unfortunately for them I had eyes and could in fact see plenty of people getting their meals no problem.
Wasn’t the deal with prodos that they just didn’t tell people what was going on? Did they start shipping the game to stores with ks backers still to receive their pledges? Am I confusing some of that with other companies. AW have been fairly up front with saying there will be delays and the reasons why.
Wrt gw you won’t find a post from me at any rate losing my mind about space marines or anything really so if you’re suggesting there is any hypocrisy on the way I view gw in comparison to AW then you’re out of luck.
I understand both of your opinions. But the reasoning that one member of staff just doesn’t sit well with me, according to the Antenociti facebook page the main operator of the lasers is the owner, so unless he was ill then he would be able to complete the project. If the member of staff in question was that vital to production the owner would not have been able to produce three new laser cut kits and eleven new resin kits. The reason I would say they are similar is that Antenociti is going to run another kickstarter while having not… Read more »
The staff member was the resin caster. They sent an update in March explaining that he was signed off for an extended period of time and whilst the remaining team could do the casting themselves, it meant taking them away from handling the other aspects of fulfilling the KS and running the day to day business. The exact same thing happened to Mierce Miniatures who also found themselves a caster down for an extended period of time and are now several months behind as a result. In AW’s case, they had intended on hiring a trainee caster to work alongside… Read more »

So, who does the resin? Who makes the moulds? Who does the pick & pack? Who does the instructions? Who does the photography and labels? Who does the post? Who manages materials? Who does ordering? Who does accounts?
Is it the Pixies?
It is very easy to say what you are saying, but it has no basis in reality.
One does not simply cut on a laser and “Shazam! Its done!”
Ok well your earlier post was reasonable, this one not so much, so I feel that it may be worthwhile pointing out some hypocricies and hopefully at least conflicting mistakes with your post here and what looks like at least partially a response to me on your facebook/kickstarter page. You state in your kickstarter update that you are not producing new products as you are currently fulfilling your kickstarter, but earlier in this conversation you state that “This isnt going to kickstarter – it’s a retail release (this week. in fact)”, you also have released you E-Systems garbage point http://www.antenocitisworkshop.com/e-systems-garbage-point.html… Read more »
also here is a link to the kickstarter update https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2097161002/forward-base-sci-fi-scenery-for-infinity-wargamers/posts/1432559
As AW have shown themselves capable of speaking for themselves I’ll not tread on their toes, though as Ronnie is unlikely to be speaking for himself here I can assure you that Mantic do not do most of their sales at KS instead of retail. Their campaigns fund production of the product and fulfilment of th pledges and they make their money and do the majority of their sales at retail
They had to complete a kickstarter to fund the book for Kings of War 2nd Edition? This seems unlikely considering the cost to produce the book to a company with over a million in assets (if unsure check out this rather lengthy companies house PDF link https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/document-api-images-prod/docs/1GGp3PfhMMLC5irJSRR7FZ-BATpVTL6P9Aa7FHaeaQA/application-pdf?AWSAccessKeyId=ASIAIR2MBQSZQ6JH3VZA&Expires=1449171193&Signature=ZvTxd3pWpqOdtd2sl4LqamQlCxw%3D&x-amz-security-token=AQoDYXdzEBga4AMIDBoWrLoCcmVDPCkKNledO9%2FNc6Y785sq5dYSdtZr7Ss21YFUC8sAcBtXTu2HwtVwnEXpCVj1se5yMWQ8G4BeZZ5RlCwDp44vn3CkXRbLCsn%2BxjpgwYjbznTwNNNQfOgkA7xhSX%2FA2k2K9n1waJV9n5GV6eWVMSboEfkZBflzJwQwW8h%2FavuCVmtwKpPQYKsIiSW93W1uLOJ%2BtpzjXQq4fiMOSNa7p5qkRVc0mGbsATMbRtYAIvnSrWeJsnUsXV2eoW9iM9F51%2B1OPCS1BAqMCKvf3bw7m9E%2FIU0eHDvK0%2F%2BcXmaZ%2BIaPmKYvePn%2BloIBtiDFxCZadzRSJor0oP8utb5D0ZCLmALRD5Gi8zvkSZyjZ%2BR8zK2QcfYOG7IBcwSSfXZVMhQzIpgANwWpaatPp8BEX7YxauTEktpz6XRnIXvg3U0fTfWxttPkhUwYh%2BplJNjadMNjoW2H4Ia%2B6RHx3v%2FLfTNtv%2BWSg0ps85XET839gi%2B0q9wUPGWBstJ9Fy%2B2%2Ff%2Fn8e9OijHT8lSPvBH3CaAVWyIYwJ6cZNwpr2GjjryQBCnlzwZD3BMtWElbxe6BbA2a0zVNwGIaWoNnsN9Lpvki8r8lYJhXS7%2B61SbOX7ECBBcrNLNrkCJWHzKuK%2Fwg9KqBswU%3D) in which case it would most likely be because a large proportion of their sales come from kickstarter as otherwise they would just produce a book.
I know that Mantic operate this way. This is not me speculating. What you choose to do with that information is up to you.
We have a strict policy about listening to feedback that starts with checks differentiating between “feedback” and “baseless ranting” and goes on to include other requirements such as “Are they from this reality?” and “OMGG is Larry Dunn at it yet again!???”
Those who fail the checks we rather tend to ignore.
What you really need to ask yourself is: “What have the Romans ever done for us…”
Glad to see that you are as mature in business as you are on the internet. This can only bode well for your future customers. Good luck with your obviously stellar ability to forward plan, I am sure you will not need to hire a consultant the next time as your abilities are obviously vast based off your recent experiences.
I like this, goes will with Relic Knight as redben said, and with Infinity. I also think his (Except the shack) could go into Ninja All stars.
With regards to lots of noodle/eating places the only ones I know of are from Customeeple http://www.customeeple.com/product/infinity-modular-buildings-yu-ying/
