More, more, more. Ok i think i proven my point. 😉
I love this game, we played missions A, B, 1-6 yesterday and it was really fun
Be nice if you guys could play out some expansions, or diddle with the adventurers companion
1) Play more Dungeon Saga.
2) Give me a copy of Dungeon Saga.
That is all.
Yeah…… definitely going to have to invest in this….. see if I can convince the wife for xmas 🙂
That was fun, more would be great! 🙂
more, more,more
Waiting for my copy. Was told 23 November that’s when my store will have it in.
Yep, more please! 🙂
Nearly finished painting my Dwarf King’s Quest set (first session of DS on Tuesday night!), then it’s onto the Warlord of Galahir set…
Played A, B and 1 with my son and a couple of friends at the club. Looking forward to getting more stuff painted up and getting into the rest of the campaign now we’ve got the rules sorted.
still want more!
Keep putting these up! Still a really exciting quest, lots of nails were bitten in the watching of this one.
If you’ll excuse me, I need to return to my post by the front door as I keep watch for the delivery dude…
+1 to keep posting more; would be nice seeing you play up to the end of the Valandor expansion considering it’s a direct sequel to the base campaign. Would also be nice to see you run through the expansions as they’re released as well so that you have a variety of enemies to face.
And in between, still hoping you run your own campaign(s) – I’m sure I speak for everyone @dignity when I say we want to see Roger the Mammoth herder taking to the field! ;P
Really enjoying this. Justin you should know better than challenge the Dice gods they will exact revenge in a later game.
Great episode, cant wait till the post man arrives with my bundle of joy. It looks like a great family game. I would ask that if you play again, try one episode with the co-op mode to let us see how that plays out.
Loving these vids guys, but are you not doing the set up incorrectly? I’m pretty sure the dungeon should only ever be set up to the first locked doors, and then as they get unlocked, to the next locked door and so on. That way you don’t know what direction to take and it really does add another angle of suspense to the game. Check out the quick rules on the back page of the rulebook.
Yep you’re right. They did the same in the other vids too (think this might have been filmed at the same time hence why they made the mistake again).
@dignity @warzan see above. 🙂
We most definitely want more. Loving this game and can’t wait for it coming out at the end of this month.
Breaking away from combat always requires a rules check. In any system.
yeah, this game is a definite. i have a real nostalgia for the doors – like the hinged Advanced Heroquest ones. My brother broke the hinges when his Heroes used to ‘kick’ the doors in… that’s after all the Heroquest card doors got bent and torn
In Advanced Heroquest there was a Quest for the Shattered Amulet (?) were the heroes had to pick up tokens
Guessing the wizard must have had a curry from ye old curry house the night before seeing as he had a bad a**e burning towards the end 😉
Mines arrived so looking forward to getting some games in!
Would love to see more dungeon crawling in the future, so plass keeper em coming. Dungen Saga looks fantastic, takes me straight back to Hero Quest. Definetly getting this one, gonna look awesome all painted up.
I am just wondering why Rich was taking his one action as playing a card each turn, you get to do your allotted actions AND use one card per turn?
Question from play: Breaking down mundane locked doors. When the party attempted to open the first door (3 Armor, 3 Dice) it looked as though they had succeeded. The dwarf rolled a 5,4,4,1 and the Overlord rolled a 6,4,1. But then someone said they needed three successes to bring the door down. Is this correct? I have been playing that if a hero makes a successful hit against a door, then the door is broken down. 5/6 fail, 4/4 fail, 4/1 success, 1/1 feeble. Am I playing incorrectly or was that an error on the play in the video?
I’ve just consulted the rule book (always a good place to look first): The rule for mundane locks states to open a door a hero must fight it. The Overlord should consult the lock counter for Combat Dice and Armor values. A single hit will smash the lock open. So you should have been successful in opening that first door. Your last video on Dungeon Saga, “Into the Depths” would have been more successful as well. I noticed this error in that video as well. Hope this helps 🙂
Definitely more DS needed. I played A&B 1-3 at Yule with my parents and brother none of whom are gamers (ASL doesn’t count Neil) and we all had a great time!! I definitely need to see some more bat reps for The continuing Saga.
