Attack The Block On Deep-Cut’s New City Map
November 2, 2015 by dracs
Deep-Cut Studios are bringing your battles to the urban landscape of the city with the release of their latest City Block design battle map.
This City Block map is a fairly simple design, with blocks being cut through by an intersecting road system in the grid layout than many modern cities choose to follow.
The detail is, of course, excellent, with cracks in the tar and pavement letting the map avoid becoming too clean and unrealistic in appearance.
As is usual, the mat comes in a variety of sizes and can be printed on either cloth or PVC, making it a very versatile product to suit your gaming needs.
Gaming mats like these are a great way to provide your gaming tables with cheap, effective backgrounds and settings. So many skirmish and large scale wargames take place in urban settings that Deep-Cut's City Block mats, combined with a variety terrain pieces, should make for an eye catching battlefield, especially given how important a stretch of road can be in such games.
Do you like using gaming mats, or do you prefer to make your gaming boards by other means?

They do have the option of the mouse mat material as well. Although at this point that’s only available on some of their designs. I did email them asking about this and got the reply of “Those are out of stock, expecting more in November”.
I got that same reply 🙂
I have some good news for you *points at calendar*
That’s a simple but good matt that I could see using.
The shapes seem as they would be award to build buildings for ?
Can’t edit my last so here’s a repost. It should read

No, not really as you would make several buildings per area and not just the one and you wouldn’t have to have a building edge parallel to the map edge anyway.
