Dreamspirit Provide a Fantasy Home
July 23, 2011 by dracs
Dreamspirit Wargaming have launched a new range of fantasy terrain for all of you to send your armies swarming over, the Fantasy Fiefdoms Buildings.
These buildings are perfectly suited to any fantasy style miniatures game you might be into.
However, I do think that the buildings themselves look a bit cartoony. Its almost as they shrunk the set of Disney World and then cut the roof off.
What do you guys think of these? Would you consider using them on your gaming tables?
yah…. i feel like these were made for the much younger players, or those who have no reason for realism (heaven forbid)
they look like out of a disney movie.
Its built weird to say the least, half a wall wood half a wall stone, some brick and lime rendering and a stone floor raised off the ground.. I think its meant to be patched together after being destroyed,, but it still doesn’t look possible.
thanks for the comments guys, Dreamspirit Wargaming Studio is producing terrain for wargamers worldwide for a year and a half now, and almost all of our terrain pieces have cartoony look. It is just something something that is our hallmark. After all we make terrains for fantasy environments exclusively.
Best regards,
Milos
I actually really like it, it is vibrant and colorful. I’m a fan of that, but the only game I’d think it fits with (that I have) right now is Freebooters Fate
to me, they would fit in with malifaux all day long
I think if painted in a darker scheme, this might look very Cadwallon-like.
The cartoony look might work with figs from Super Dungeon Explore…
