Whip Across The Fallen Frontiers Tabletop With A Sayx Raptor
October 15, 2015 by brennon
Fallen Frontiers have impressed with another render for the Sayx faction as part of their successful Kickstarter campaign. Now going through the render stage we have the Sayx Raptor which is their version of a bike...
I'm kind of glad that they didn't go down the jetbike route with this and stuck to keeping it on two wheels. I do like seeing how people design them and in this case it has very military style to it with no frills.
I like the low-rider style and I could see these racing around the battlefield blasting at bigger vehicle to harry them and take the attention off the Sayx troops and vehicles. It maybe could have benefited from more protection for the driver but I suppose he/she has to be able to get out quickly.
What do you think of the design?

looks good.
Pray you never catch a red light or a stop sign. It would be tough to hold it up with one foot!
It looks like it would struggle to get over a speed bump let alone zoom around a battlefield.
I think it may be at park position with the wheels pivoting to give more ground clearance like the Citroen cars.
That looks really promising.
Thatnlooks stunning just as a render

I think we can imagine that there is some sort of suspension or other balancing technology operating in there.
Yup. We already have in reality gyroscopically stablized self enclosed bikes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0m-cUxMcJw
It was the almost complete lack of ground clearance I was referring too.
