Huge Everblight Beast Spotted On The Horizon For Hordes

Muse On Minis spotted a rather awesome render for an upcoming Legion of Everblight model that is due around January next year for Hordes. As you can see it is fairly huge and probably belongs amongst the other Gargantuans that Privateer Press have been working on...
While this is clearly a Legion beast it does have plenty to remind you of creatures from StarCraft that's for sure. You could easily see this bursting out of a Zerg nest.
I think that as a whole the range of huge monsters has been ten time better than the Colossals that we saw for Warmachine. The fact that they are all organic creations means that you can do so much with their anatomy.
What do you think?

That looks awesome.
Love it. Legion are my faction for Hordes and this big beastie is high up on the list of things to get. It will make a nice late xmas present to myself 😀 .
nice.
While not as pretty as the Angel it is just as deadly.
With all due respect @wildchevy I hope you’re wrong. The Angel is the weakest of the Gargantuas and rarely field due to its rule flaws that limit its usefulness. This new model doesn’t hold a candle in the image department to the Angel but may be more useful for games. Time will tell when we get a glance at the rules.
Do you think the Angel is worse than the Mountain King? When I was playing Hordes it was the Mountain King which seemed the weakest to me. In the case of the Angel it was just that the points were better spent on heavy warbeasts.
That’s when you know it’s not working. But they did just recently updated its rules, it may be better. Have yet to playtest it.
I am absolutely not the target audience here – I’m not a player of Warmahordes, nor am I much of a fan of their art style for most of their ranges (although there are a few exceptions which I love). But this looks a bit disappointing to me. It may be big, but it doesn’t look particularly new, interesting or different to other Legion creatures. To be fair, I think the quality of the detail and the sculpting looks really good, it’s just the concept which in my view lets it down. Not that I’m a huge fan of many… Read more »
I agree, it looks fine just uninspired. GW would get 2 pages of criticism for something twice as innovative as that model.
Where is the dragoon ?
It’s an impressive model, but PP lost the Everblight spirit, i think.
Please, keep the distance with the “other”, as the Tyranid?
I want to see this painted up, guarantee it will look awesome.
If I wanted a Tyranid I would have gone to GW. As it is so far, this really lets me down. It really shouldn’t be that hard to make a giant Carnivean type beast that looks like it can rip you a new one.
I’m not a fan of it. Not saying its bad, it just doesent get me going. I see where it fits in with the mutagenic monstrous side of legion though. I can’t wait for the next generation of Gargantuans to be released, the Skorne Desert Hydra looks amazing!
I don’t find that this model comes across as being big from the pic though. I know it is but… I dunno, it seems off to me.
