West Wind Get HMLS Gladstone Ready For Battle
October 4, 2015 by brennon
West Wind Productions have shown off another of their crazy steampunk contraptions with HMLS Gladstone that, you guessed it, takes to land in order to blast things to pieces. Empire Of The Dead just got a big more 'boomier'. Is that a word?
More information on this ship...
"Not to be outshone by the Army and its dammed Tankovsky the Royal Navy commissioned the Jerusalem Iron Works to construct a new class of Ironclad. ''HMLS Gladstone'' was the first in this new class of Land Battleships.'' We will take the Navy to the enemy wherever he hides the lack of a sea will not be an obstacle!'' so said First Sea Lord and Admiral of the Fleet Sir Arthur Hood.
HMLS Gladstone first saw active service in the Anglo-Zulu war of 1879. However it did not distinguish itself in combat as it became stuck fast in the Buffalo river close to a small outpost known locally as Rourke's Drift, what became of the crew is unknown."
This looks like a wondrous contraption for you to use on the battlefield. I'd love for this to be tucked away in a secret warehouse which your gangs are trying to get access to so they can steal it for themselves.
What do you think of it?
