Roll Out Big British Guns With Forged In Battle’s 15mm Range
October 2, 2015 by brennon
Forged In Battles 15mm World War II range is added to this month with two big guns for you to use in battle. Both for the 8th army stuck out there in the desert we have a Field Gun and Artillery piece for blasting away defences...
Boom, Boom Boom...
The first of these weapons is the 8th Army British 25pdr field gun, limber and crew. The kit gives you the gun plus a random selection of crew members which will then be manning them on the field of battle.
These big guns look suited to taking out armour and punching holes in bunkers. The gun was also highly mobile and could be moved around to where it was needed with ease.
...Boom Boom
As I finish channelling the spirit of Baldrick we take a look at the next big gun, the 8th Army British 5.5" Guns and Crew.
This gun is a little bit more long range and could be used to blow up targets at range. El Alamein was one of the battles where these guns first came into their own.
Will you be using these to bolster your 15mm British armies?

Great models. My dad trained on the 25 pounders in Shilo, Manitoba before he went overseas. Then, after D-Day, someone figured out the infantry were dying faster than the artillery and he got press ganged into the Queen’s Own Camerons of Canada, and got a whole two weeks of infantry training!
Those are really nice.
They make fantasic minis – we have lots of their Russians and a fair few vehicles. Very well sculpted and they even come with variations already added. Pity I don’t play British.
like.
