LITKO Organise Your Fleet Battles With New Counters & Dials
September 25, 2015 by dracs
LITKO are once again doing their bit to make battling in the far reaches of space a little less confusing as they have come out with a new selection of Fleet Wars dials and counters.
Most recently, we have seen the release of boarding action dials and human squadron dice dock stands, two of the more fiddly ares of games like Halo Fleet Battle.
Plastic counters like these can be pretty useful as they replace the usually cardboard stock pieces many games come with, providing a hard wearing alternative that should help make things a little more eye catching while cutting down on clutter.
Do you use any of LITKO's accessories? What do you think of these latest pieces?

Nice accessories.
I would have purchased these instantly 3 weeks ago, but I played my first game of Halo since then and my opponent and I both new to the game just gave up. While mechanics seem to be elegant there is no quick way to learn them. We must have spent every 5 mins looking things up in the rulebook. Hope Ground combat is better, I am a massive Halo fan and left disappointed after Fleet battles
So you played 1 game and were disappointed at how you had to reference rules all the time? Im sorry but this is no fault on the game but on you two I’d say. Read the rules throughly before attempting to play any war game, or at least have one individual that has a good grip on the rules to teach to the opponent while the game progresses. Ive heard nothing but good things about this game so it just must be your ill prepared “1st game” that made it rather difficult.
Weird that…my friend and I had the oppose experience. Our first game went really well. One of us hadn’t read the rule much at all,but by the third turn we hardly looked at the rulebook. As with all first trys we did a few minor things wrong, but nothing that ruined the game for us.
If only it were easier to get the Litko tokens in the UK. As far as I’m aware there’s only the one main distributor over here and last time I saw them, they didn’t have any of the lovely Imperial Assault tokens.
I would say that the rule book caused some confusion during my first games. After seeing an online demo game things became much clearer.
While I’ve enjoyed it so far I’m not sure if it will end up losing out to Star War Armada or even possibly Drop Fleet once it’s out.
The models are excellent however and it would be great to compliment them with some ‘prettier’ tokens.
