MomMiniaturas Command Their Dwarves & Hire An Elven Archer

MomMiniaturas have added to their existing Divine Rage range with a new Command Set for their Dwarf foot troops and an Elven Archer who will be picking out those enemy champions and taking their eyes out...
Gruff Commanders
Taking their place in the shieldwall these Dwarf Warriors seem very practical even if they are carrying things like a Standard and Horn. More often than not the Standard Bearer or Musician in a unit will always be without their weapons and shields so it's nice to see they are protected.
I think this is a neat set and the icon on the standard is a welcome sight too. I am not very good at free hand so it's good to see I can just paint by the numbers when it comes to this set.
There is actually quite a lot of detail on these models, especially for regular line infantry, and if you're looking for a good alternative to Warhammer or Kings of War Dwarves then these would be a good pick I'd say.
Keen Eyed Archer
Worthy as a hero for your army or individually in a role-playing capacity they have also crafted this fantastic Elf Archer. I love that they've gone full 'Heroic' with this model and given him the windswept cloak and robes. I can't imagine that makes firing his arrows that easy.
The only thing that I might call out about the model is the large bow and arrow but then again, as I said above, he is very 'Heroic' so it was to be expected. I could see this Elf being generic enough to work as both a Wood Elf or a High Elf with an alternative paint scheme and a bit of basing tweaking.

Those look really good.
I’ve got a bunch of their plated elves. Make great heavy infantry. I like them both, but am more inclined to buy Scibor for my dwarf command groups. I do, however, have a bundle of their dwarfs in plate armour that I’m using as line infantry in my heavy brigade.
Like the elf… shame about the bow. I wonder if he is the first figure for a unit of archers?

I would like to see these mom minis painted up @ the next level … its relly hard to tell what the minis look like when painted like this.
