Wyrd Games’ Malifaux Gets Caught Up In A Storm Of Ash & Dust
September 21, 2015 by brennon
The Outcasts get themselves an interesting miniature preview for Wyrd's Malifaux. See what you make of Ashes & Dust which holds the honour of having the highest soulstone count (points etc) in the game...
This creature is a deadly force to be reckoned with and when destroyed reverts back to the form shown in the bottom slice. The Ashen Core and Dust Storm can come back together to reform into the creature once more and spread more chaos around the tabletop.
It sounds like something you'd have to prepare for quite thoroughly if you wanted to destroy it. I think they've done a good job of making the model look like it is indeed created by those constituent parts.
It makes 'sense' in the only way a Wyrd model would, especially the horned skull head clutched in a skeletal hand.
What do you think of the model?

Any idea what size it is? Looks like it’d be good for Chaos Dwarfs as a K’daai (either Fireborn or Destroyer depending on size)
very strange, but very cool 🙂
Not sure why but it kinda reminds me of tex hex from bravestar mixed with mumrah, cool render though
Bravestar, now that’s a name I haven’t heard i a very long time 😛 classic cartoon 😀
When i first saw WWX immediatly thought cool bravestar mini game..
