Oathsworn’s Animal Adventurers Raid Kickstarter Once Again
September 21, 2015 by brennon
Oathsworn take to Kickstarter as well today in a flurry of fundraisers at the end of September looking to raise money for more of their animal adventurers and warriors in Burrows & Badgers Freelances...
There are a range of different sets that you can add to your pledge for this campaign including the likes of the mystical Hobbe Sisters that you see above. All of them have been grouped into sets that have a nice bit of theme to them.
Some of these sets are packed full of character, particularly this next one called The Travellers which brings in a lot of different animals from other continents out there in the world of Burrows & Badgers. It's particularly great to see the Lizard with the Aztec/Mayan weapons.
There are also some different sets which don't particularly conform to a 'warband' as such but would be great additions. One of these is the Slave Badger, someone that I would imagine pops up in scenario play.
As an additional option they have also provided you with the chance to get your hands on a terrain piece, the Ruined Tower, allowing you to play out your games around something interesting rather than just another boring field!
It comes in three parts allowing you to form a bit of a narrative and place some greenery in and around the tower as if it's been somewhat reclaimed by nature over time.
What do you think of this new campaign?

Such a shame they don’t average out at 28mm would have loved these for Frostgrave
We’ve tried to keep a sense of scale between them – it just doesn’t seem right to me to have them all the same height. I know other anthro ranges usually have all the animals the same height… but but when in real life a shrew is 13cm long and a fox is over 100cm, it seems crazy to sculpt them the same size.
Still, I’m sorry it doesn’t work for you – I like to try and please everyone if I can! 🙂
No the fact they are different size is actually a good thing for the reasons you say.
I suppose I meant like ranging between say 20 and 30/35mm.
But I’m tempted by the otter anyway. And the Tortoise. And the Platypus and so on
Give in to temptation…. 😉
These are rather good.
