The Skulltaker Rides Out Of The Devil’s Run: Route 666
September 21, 2015 by brennon
The Skulltaker is riding into Word Forge Games' The Devil's Run: Route 666. As well as that road warrior they have also been working hard on designing the cards for the game and they are coming along very nicely...
Road Warrior
As you might imagine by his name Skulltaker isn't in the business of making friends out there in the wasteland. He is another leader of the Skinners and is riding a very well crafted motorbike.
I really like the low rider look and the other embellishments he has made to his bike with the skulls on spikes and the wheel arches having those ridges on them. People did get very inventive in the post-apocalypse didn't they.
Card Art
As we mentioned above they have also been working on the layout of their cards. See what you think of the designs below along with a selection of the artwork too...
The artwork is looking good and the card details don't appear to be overly cluttered too which is good. The clear break between the different sections of the cards means they should be easy to read when down on the tabletop.
You can find out more about what all the cards mean and also their progress on making the game itself over on Kickstarter.
Are you happy with the progress of the project?

Looks Like it might be a good start for a ork warbike!
Would be if you where doing 40K in this scale. Backed this on from the off….and it’s looking really good so far. Word Forge games also seem to keep the backers very well up dated as regard progress of the project. Hoping to see some miniatures in the flesh at Dragonmeet in December.
hells dark angels?
Awesome looking art work on the cards. Skulltaker look cool as well.
