Scibor Set the Standard With Their Latest Banner Bearer
September 1, 2015 by dracs
Scibor have released a new knight standard bearer who will let you show off your army's colours with pride.
This knight is decked out all manner of medieval iconography, from the fleur-de-lis to the grail on his shield. Yet, despite being so ornately dressed, he looks rather grizzled. Definitely a veteran of the battlefield.
However, the pose is a bit stiff and awkward. From the way his head is tilted, it looks more like he has been mildly distracted by something, rather than striking a heroic pose, although this may be due more to the angle of the photo.
With his detailed design and impressive banner, this standard bearer would still make an excellent addition to medieval / Bretonnian style forces, serving as an eye catching representation of the army's battle standard.
Do you like Scibor's model? Would it make a good standard bearer for your army?

I’d say he’s less mildly distracted and more standing by the army general and his advisors surveying the battlefield.
I really like Scibor’s models, but their humans always look like big dwarfs to me.
I thought “dwarf” when I saw the pic’s! 😀
I dont get it .. ive seen him do some very cool sculpting in 54mm+, but as soon as its 28mm it becomes stuntified 😛
I think it’s the length of the legs compared to the body. Sometimes its good and sometimes it’s off. like this fellow is.
In truth Scibor IMO don’t actually make a bad mini, even their worst is still massively at least ok with their normal run of the mill stuff being great and their great stuff being fantastic. Don’t think since Rackham’s demise, has there been a contender for this crown even if the figures cost a little more you are talking quality over quantity with their range’s
That looks rather good.
Like, he’s just having a homer moment?
Shoot me I am a fanboy 🙂
