4Ground have continued to build upon the 10mm Scale Jesserai range which is perfectly for Dropzone Commander (as shown off here). They have been working on additional pieces of terrain like this Vertipad here below which shows off a UCM ship at rest while a group of soldiers defend it.

Defend The LZ!

This piece of terrain is a big sturdy bit of kit and immediately I'm thinking of it as an objective for your troops to take control of. I like the idea that this is the defenders base and the UCM (or other faction) have been surprised by another army.

Landing Pad

It's up to you as the UCM (in this case) to defend the Vertipad with your soldiers while the Dropships begin to take off and escape. Think of the Battle of Hoth in a city and you'd be on the money.

Landing Pad (Alt)

I think this could be quite a fun asymmetrical game where one side is having to rely on a lack of air support and lots of ground troops while the other force is a lot more mobile. I think that would tell a wonderful story.

Street Features

In addition to the Vertipad you can see above they have also been working on some additional scatter terrain that would be perfect for making your world feel a little more lived in. First up, a whole bunch of Security Fences...

Fences

First off, these would be great alongside the Vertipad above. While they might not be the most sturdy of defences these would be great for channelling the action. If you were so inclined you could also add a bit of signage to them giving it a quarantine look.

Last but not least we have even more objectives and ways for your troops to get around the map. If you like the idea of charging through the subways and then ambushing another unit then these could be useful.

Subway Entrances

One of the subways comes with a very heavily locked down door while the other is a lot more inviting. Obviously one of these subways contains the remnants of the Scourge and they are more than willing to rip you to pieces. That could be a good hazard to the usefulness of being able to get around the map quickly.

28mm Middle Eastern Terrain

Kicking things off for the Arabic Middle East we have the Arabic Village Compound and a whole bunch of Walls with Gates that look like they were once part of a larger building complex in the Medieval age or indeed the modern day.

Arabic Village Compound

First up we have the Village Compound which gives you a whole bunch of the different components and puts them together into one package. It looks like a great set which would be a defensive position against angry Crusaders or indeed irate Arabic forces who are annoyed with these interlopers.

Making up part of this Compound are the walls and such that you see here. See what you think...

Arabic Tall Walls #1

Arabic Straight Walls

Arabic Tall Walls #2

I particularly like these small wall sections that you could dot around a few of the more open landscape sections of your tabletop. This could be the remains of a larger building complex which was besieged by massive forces descending on Jerusalem.

As always this would work perfectly in the Dark Ages and indeed in Modern Warfare settings too.

Wild West

The Wild West isn't to be left out either however since they have a fantastic Land Office for you to fight over. Cowboys, Bandits or maybe even Native Americans will all be scuffling around this building I reckon.

Dead Man's Land Office

I love the amount of windows around the building which might sound like a stupid thing to say but they offer a lot of chances for excellent shoot outs. The roof is also level enough for a sniper to get on top of to fire down at the carnage below.

What do you think of the terrain pieces?
