Dark Sword Go Adventuring With Rabbits & Raccoons
August 21, 2015 by brennon
Dark Sword Miniatures have added some more animal adventurers to their Fantasy collection focusing in on both Rabbits & Raccoons as their beasts of choice. See what you think of them below, great alternatives to the standard role-playing heroes out there...
Thumper!
Kicking things off we have a look at the Rabbits who have heroes that would work for Clerics, Bards and Swashbucklers. I think of the three I would love to get my hands on the Cleric as he has a bit of a burly mean streak to him.
Rabbits have always felt like 'Rangers' to me in Fantasy Class terms but it's good to see them branch out into other archetypal role-playing roles.
Bandits!
The second set of models from Dark Sword include the Raccoons who are embracing the classes of the Mage, Bard and Ranger.
Once again there is a stand out model in this set with the Mage I think and while the other models are great I think they hit the nail on the head with that one.
I would have thought we'd have seen more Raccoon Rogues as it fits with their 'bandit' like nature but it's good, as with the Rabbits, to see them branching out to fit more molds.
There are a few more releases over on their webstore so keep an eye out and tell us which is your favourite.
What do you think?

Often a single novice warrior monk will be sent out to asses the needs of a warren calling for help, guiding them to a new warren away from the feet of the man. But there are many more dangers than those that man can bring. The ferrets, stoats and the warrior hares who follow a… Read more »
