Willy Miniatures have put up images of the next guy to be making his presence known on the fields of fantasy football. The Halfling Captain.
I've always had a bit of a soft spot for halflings, probably because I'm about the same height, but I think that this is a very promising looking sculpt and I hope to see him out there soon proving that mini can be mighty!

Well, I’m glad we’ve entertained someone for a minute with this wee conversation…

A nice model, but I’m not a fan of the static pose. Anyone standing there like that on any fantasy football pitch would fully deserve the kicking through the air they would no doubt soon receive from an ogre or minotaur or something.
I think that Willy make some really nice miniatures, just this isn’t one of them. It’s static, it’s got a ball in its hand (a pet peeve, when the ball is a part of the game and is modelled separately), and is just meh (as they say in internetland).
Have a look at their site for Flesh Golems and a really dynamic elf, among other lovely models. Their mummies are particularly good.

I think the static pose is just what it is… a pose. The guy is showing the ball to everyone, proudly, as a hobbit should. His expression, the helmet over his eyes… It’s priceless !
