Since shooting in the game is sooo OP I will be using as many dwarf war machines and missle troopsmas I can.
Yep, dwarf cannon fired twice in one turn and deleted both my characters. The unit that finally took it out perhaps shouldn’t have either. My opponent said it felt wrong to shoot the cannon at the unit its crew was in combat with but I think he could have just kept blasting it into the melee.
Just had a Duardin Elf alliance vrs Orruks and Skaven. Alarielle fixing the dwarf canon…….by D6 wounds a turn using a spell. Awesome combo. Goblins units (or clan rats) acting a blockers to get the skaven warlord into the oppo back field……….finally sorted out the warmachines near end of game and had a go at assassinating Alarielle. Took half her wounds off then got fried by an arcane bolt. All our games using the warscrolls with old figures have been very, very close, ranging all around the table. Brilliant experience so far. I am getting my hands on as many empire troops as I can, particularly the demi-griff knights and feilding them. (Sort of as Imperial guard to my space marines) . I hadn;t thought of a steam tank until I saw your picture … now it’s a definate must.
Going with Duardin for Order and Orruks/Ogors for Destruction and I may finally get around to painting my Chaos Dwarves.
Besides the Stormcast Eternals, I would be down for the Duardrin (Always wanted to be short with a long awesome beard). I might be persuaded to get some of the other order stuff but I would have to see what they offer first. Also I hope if I see what is in the big book along with the White Dwarf’s i’ve been picking up recently is true would be down for the Warrior Priests and the Empire’s Pope Mobile. Not sure I want to paint Flaggellants again, wasn’t really into them the first time I painted them.
