Jasco Snap Up Cowboy Bebop & Dragon Ball Z For UFS
August 5, 2015 by brennon
Jasco Games have even more intellectual properties joining their ranks and the UFS as well as getting board games of their own. These folks really have powered through the world of anime!
Cowboy Bebop
The first property, Cowboy Bebop gets added to the UFS and will also get a board game too. It would be interesting to see how the board game develops alongside the story of the world.
I think more than anything it would be fun to see the miniatures for this. Cowboy Bebop has always been very cool looking in style and character.
Dragon Ball Z
Dragon Ball is getting itself a board game, probably quite similar to the Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat one I would assume.
I could see this being a very interesting series of board games from Jasco and they look like they've used their experience with Mega Man to latch onto a whole raft of properties that suit their mechanics and games.
What do you think?

Not taken with DBZ but Cowboy Bebop is a classic. However as a board game? The world backdrop to it is certainly amusing as are the characters in general. I guess I will reserve all judgement until the reviews are in. There are actually some great world backdrops in anime that would lend themselves well to RPG’s GitS would be a favourite of mine if ever someone wrote a good set of rules for it.
Cowboy Bebop could work as a cooperative bounty hunter game, but with a certain competitive aspect to it. I played Heroes Wanted with my friends, and it’s surprisingly fun to work together to bring down a bad guy whilst avoiding getting screwed over by your teammates.
Cowboy Bebop is one of best animes ever so this is going to be interesting.
Hope they don’t botch it up as Bebop is a great anime and deserves the best.
Well the DBZ one certainly has my attention.
Still my favourite anime of all time.
