Scibor have some new shoulder pads to spruce up your warriors of the distant future.
Now you probably know by now that I have never liked models which have massive shoulder pads. However the decorative detail on these will, I think, make them the perfect way to make one of your units stand out.

Are these standard space marine or terminator sized shoulder pads? I bought some of the ‘Lion’ shoulder pads from Scibor a while back in the hope of using them on standard marines but they were way too big and only really useable on terminators. Scibor needs to specify this to buyers in some way if possible.
I think they’re Terminator ones…
Skeletons and crosses… This really could be straight out of the side chapel or crypt of an Austro-Hungarian XVIIIth century cathedral !

Does Scibor plan to release their fantastic shoulder pad range in a size that fits standard marines or will they always only be terminator sized? I want them for standard marines!
They can be used for both, however they are a bit big on normal space marines (Though it looks good on one arm though) Terminator size-yes
I tried the shoulder pads i got from Scibor on normal marines and they were waaaaaay oversized IMHO. Shame really coz if they were exactly the right size for marines i would buy a load of them for a chapter of my own devising i have in mind. Nevermind.
Send the masterminds of Scibor some feed back and they might just take your idea and run with it. Some people have mentioned that they did contact them on ideas and they listen to it and have made figures that are asked for. No harm in asking I say.
I can’t say anything about the size as I’ve never tried building a model with these, but having spent some time looking at the models I can say that I’ve been very impressed with Scibor’s stuff. Lots of nice touches and crisply sculpted and cast.
Dont get me wrong, i was very impressed with the order i received from Scibor. In terms of quality of sculpting and casting i couldnt fault what they sent me. The only issue was that they were too big for the project i had them in mind for, something i hope Scibor can make mention of on their website in the future. @ manpug …… I did actually drop them an email about this issue a while ago and was pleased to get a swift response. Im glad I noticed this before buying what I wanted from Scibor, I was just about to buy enough shoulder pads, helmets and a few of their characters to start a new Space Marine army, Now I think Ill just stick to upgrading the terminators with these guys, or maybe I will still get the characters, I always thought they should be bigger than standard Marines anyway 🙂
These would go well with a Mortifactors style chapter :D. Very cool indeed. I also liked the last batch they released with the lions. Had them in mind for maybe something different on my “Imaginary” Black Tide army lol.
