Ammo and Otto for Dust Tactics
July 13, 2011 by dracs
Players of Dust Tactics will be pleased to see they'll be getting two new additions to the range.
First we have the large Ammo Dump.
This serviceable bit of terrain will be perfect, not just for Dust Tactics, but any urban war environment you might play on.
But what is terrain without something to blow it up with? Introducing "Otto" Aufklarerlaufer KV-47.
This guy will bring a tear to the eye of any Dust Tactics fan. Especially those who have to face it.

Would anyone else be interested in a Weird War Week? You know; Dust Tactics, Secrets of the Third Reich, more on Incursion, AE: WW2, perhaps even obscure ones like Geheimkrieg?
Sources of useful WW2, horror and fantasy/sci-fi minis that could be used with those games, suggestions for conversions and perhaps paint tutorials?
IIRC some BOW guys are really into their Weird WW2 and personally I see it as an interesting option for combining Sci-fi, horror and fantasy in really creative ways …
Did that Weird War Week ever go anywhere ? I’m just getting into Weird WW2 stuff and would like to make a Rising Sun Faction for Dust.
The new DUST stuff if great. I like the realistic and gritty stylings of the models as they are not the typical grimdark. Not to sure about the ammo dump terrain, seems like a very simple piece that you could easily make yourself.
@lucas An AE:WW2 week would be a great thing. Personally, i’m not a massive fan of the genra but some of the companies that specialise in it produce some of the best minis around.
I’m all up for a week of weird war. I play SOTR but am not familiar with the game concepts of others like Dust Tactics which demand a large initial outlay of cash for a game i’m not sure i’m going to like.
The game is actually reletively cheap to get into, for £70 you get 4 mechs, 30 men and 2 heroes, plus all the other bits.
The Dust infantry I find totally uninspiring, though I do like the Dust mechs a great deal.
Tanks without tracks is a bit meh and it seems Dust Tactics plays as a board game rather than table top.
Its advertised as a board game but in my mind isn’t, its a wargame that uses a grid for movement instead of of a tape measure.
it is a board game at the moment, but a fun and easy to get into one
I would be up for a few reviews and unboxings of AE: WW2 stuff to peak my interest. I know Drakkenstrike does a great review of the DUST TACTICS boxed game on Youtube if you wanna check it out. His other videos are great too. I think i agree with QUIRKWORTHY on the dust infantry thing. I am a fan of the mechs tho and the OTTO one looks amazing.
the OTTO is sort of cute looking. I think its running to the enemie to give them a hug. Then again I could be wrong 😛
awesome looking stuff, definatly on the wish list
