First Steps Into a Savage World
July 12, 2011 by dracs
Reaper Miniatures are proud to announce their first releases for their new Savage Worlds range. Let's all give the new comers a big hand!
Reverend Grimme
Dr. Darius Hellstromme
Raven
Stone
I think that these first releases are looking very promising and that they will very useful to weird up any Western style game you might play, I hear that there's a very interesting one involving poker dice.
But these are by no means Reaper's only offerings. A whole plethora of minis from their other ranges have also been released, my favourites of which being these two.
Dulkathar the Necromancer
Ivanetta Kozlov the Russian Sniper

All in all a great show out from Reaper and I definitely intend to keep an eye on that Savage Worlds range.
The poses on the top two are a little static for me and the necromancer just looks like a blob. But I love Stone, may proxy him for some of my Malifaux models maybe death marshalls. Raven and Ivanetta are quite nice, would like to see some painted versions though.
I wouldnt mind painting up Stone for a poker dice style game…
I’d love to use these guys for Betrayal at the House on the Hill – would be epic to have some proper minis like these over the ones WotC provide for it lol. Would be pretty fun for both adventurers and villains.
I think this line will compliment their Chronoscope line very well. The models fit into so many pulp universes, I’ll be sure to buy some. Reaper Minis are cheap, high quality and they do great bits orders.
Stone looks like a great convict gunslinger for Malifaux Resurrectionists. The necromancer figure I may get for Kings of War, it will fit in nicely.
