Pulposaurus Tease Another Pre-Paint From Conan: Rise Of Monsters
July 27, 2015 by brennon
Pulposaurus Entertainment have shown off another of their pre-painted miniatures for Conan: Rise of Monsters which is coming to Kickstarter towards the end of this week. The newest preview is for the Oliphant and it's looking very impressive indeed...
Just as with the previous preview they have shown the development of the model from concept all the way to finished product. This is the paint master from the factory too but they have pledged to bring the whole range up to around this level when you get your army.
I know I mentioned this last time when we looked at this range but this could be pretty big for the gaming industry. If a company can deliver a well painted army for a reasonable cost then it could make a lot of other companies sit up and think.
What do you think?

That mammoth looks really good.
Woow .. that would be cool for a chaos warband or just some barbarians .. concerned about the price though as its both cool and pre painted.
I will certainly check out their KS. I’m just floored that they think they can provide mini’s painted to that quality. Awesome if true.
Doesn’t Westwind still have a similar mammoth with a houda, a dwarf war thingie if I’m not mistaken?
Grenadier had a really big mammoth too, with orcs on it i beleive … just got in my head one could be cool for a frostgrave scenario
Absolutely @hatamoto ! Here’s the Westwind link: 49 pounds… not bad for such a big system. Now that I think about it, I may get one for my dwarf army command.

If the mass-produced models match up to the masters this will be a great game for those of lacking the time required to paint models for new armies.
I am wary, though. I remember Mongoose Publishing launching pre-painted models for Battlefield Evolution years back. The vehicles were pretty good, but the troops had those awful splodgy eyes you associate with heroclix. Hopefully, this time they’ll find a way round that.
That’s one blinged out Oliphant!
But no way the pre-paints are going to look that good.
will this be pre-painted directly in china?
