Grow Your Medieval Town With New Terrain By Novus Design

Novus Design Studios have expanded on their 28mm collection with a new selection of Medieval Terrain. See what you think of their Blacksmith's Forge, Stone Forge, Outhouse and Well...
Heat Of The Smithy...
The first two buildings to take a look at are the forges below. I think these are nice sturdy looking purpose-built buildings that would be a great addition to a growing Medieval scene.
They are probably going to be quite fun to paint too since you'll have a chance to work on painting burnt stone and show off heat with a bit of object source lighting.
Now there's no reason this has to be a Medieval forge. You could even see this pop up in a Fantasy setting run by a Dwarf or two in the middle of a Human settlement.
Much Needed Amenities
As well as these rather cool looking forges they have also added some more terrain which is probably even more needed than a smithy. See what you think of the glorious Outhouse and rather thirst quenching Well.
All of these are very much needed in a town and they could lead to some very interesting highlights when it comes to scenarios. I like the idea of a rather important figure being caught in the loo and then you having to try and escort him away before he gets caught with his trousers down.
They also have a neat Bridge and even some Water Troughs to go with the Blacksmiths.
What do you think?

My sympathies to these guys for having the misfortune of getting their stuff advertised the same day BoW carry that insane Watchtower from Tabletop World.
But they do have some nice pieces of scatter terrain that would compliment the TW stuff. Make your town feel a little more “lived in”.
Nice terrain pieces.
I’m not sure you can compare the enormous watchtower with the far smaller blacksmith plus forge. It’s $34 vs €104. Mind you with the way the euro is heading, I’ll be looking at European shops soon.
Tabletop world have long been the rolls Royce of unpainted scenery. The always do limited edition items which are quite stunning. I struggle though to justify the cost. Smaller items like tjis though are more my price range and style (cheaper).
