Paizo Has New Team Vs Team Pathfinder Card Game Format At Gen Con
July 15, 2015 by deltagamegirl22
Paizo, the creators of the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game will be debuting a new team versus team format at Gen Con this year.
Pathfinder Adventure Card Game is a card based version of their terrific role playing game. Now they are bringing an even more competitive spirit to the game and will be holding the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game Open at Gen Con this year.
They are also hoping to reveal new decks this year, (everybody shows off their new goodies at Gen Con and why not there are over 56,000 sets of eyes potentially looking at your products)..
They will be featuring four characters from the different sets: Ezren the Wizard, Kyras the Sarenite Cleric, Merisiel the Rogue, and Valeros the Fighter.
You can get a sneak peek at these characters here and prepare yourself for an adventure of a life time. I just got the Skulls and Shackles set and am hoping to see more myself at Gen Con.
Are you ready for the great adventure?

Arrr, the Skull and Shackles set is a great game, so it be, with an interesting ship mechanic and plenty of booty! Hours of fun to be had, solo or co-operatively! Warren’s a treacherous scallyway for not giving away the copy I sent to BoW eight months ago. Arrrr!
Wrath of the Righteous is also rather good! I like the addition of the cohorts and the redemption system!
I just bought the first set with all the expansion decks (forget the name) for my wife. Still deciding if it’s going to be an anniversary gift or for the holidays. If it’s a hit, the other sets will be easy gift choices for the future.
Although the box gets a little heavy once you have the ~1200 cards in it, the self contained nature of the game coupled with the length of most sessions make it a really good game to take on holiday with you. The fact that your character is persistent is a great hook and building him (or her) up is very satisfying and it is not unlike MMORPG progression.
..just one more game!
