Privateer Unleash Kromac & The Everblight Twins On Hordes

Privateer Press have now added Kromac, Champion of the Wurm and both Saeryn & Rhyas, Talons of Everblight onto their 'Coming Soon' list for Hordes. So, if you didn't get them in their special edition form they will be available to all soon.
Kromac
Kromac is a towering Tharn of immense strength and power. I love the model, which has SO much going on with it, wielding that deadly axe. I love the wild and untamed models for Circle Orboros and I think that Kromac embodies all of that here...
"Kromac’s howl is the first and final note in a chorus of a thousand untamed beasts. Now in possession of the axe Rathrok, the World Ender, he has achieved mastery over his bestial form and no longer feels the need to return to a human guise. Through Kromac’s bond with the Beast of All Shapes, the nations of man are sure to fall."
Saeryn & Rhyas
Fighting against him we have some characters from the Legion of Everblight. Both Saeryn & Rhyas are a pair of twins and fight as such on the tabletop. The model's aren't too shabby either!
"The twins Saeryn and Rhyas are two of Everblight’s most deadly warlocks, and their bond has grown such that they are far more dangerous together than apart. The very being of the twins and their athancs are now entwined. Their living vitality is shared, so that destroying one is impossible without eliminating the other. As long as one twin still draws breath, the other can endure even the most severe wounds.
Injuries not shunted to warbeasts can also be shared between the sisters, each shielding the other from lasting harm."
Some great looking models that match up against Kromac very well, which is probably why they were included together. I like the cinematic idea of the two lithe sisters fighting against the lumbering behemoth that is Kromac.
Which set will you be getting?

I have to admit, I actually prefer the older beasted out Kromac. Still the stat card does make a compelling argument for it!
You know, sometimes that’s just the paintjob. Matt DiPietro is great, don’t get me wrong, but sometimes Privateer Press makes these minis that are just loaded up with tiny details, and Matt doesn’t always bring out the centers of attention beneath all of the stuff.
Also, I think the angle they photographed him from isn’t the best one to show him off- he looks much more static from that angle than he does from any of the others.
He’d certainly pose a challenge to paint, but he could be done up pretty fantastic.
Those look really good.
Man the new Komac is ace! Make me want to start a circle army…..but i play khador and we have butcher 😉
Honestly, aside from the bracer armor, size, axe and horns, Kromak looks identical to his prime form in terms of his detail and clothing. I think the prime form looks more primal and angry too.
