Epix Haven Miniature Terrain Kickstarter Takes Your Gaming To Another Level
June 29, 2015 by deltagamegirl22
It isn't every day that you come across terrain that is ready to use, right out of the box AND includes multiple levels!
Epix Haven has accomplished this very feat with their current Kickstarter - Epix Haven- Miniature Terrain For RPG and Miniature Games.
Epix Haven has a line of fully assembled, fully painted resin gaming terrain for 25-28mm scale games, that lifts off in floors for gamers to have access to the space inside. This means, when it arrives you take it out of the box, place it on your table and you're ready to go.
So far their range includes a Tudor style house, a Stone house, and a Castle system.
The Castle system includes a section with a gate that opens and closes, a Tower which allows for gaming on its different levels, and Wall sections which would allow for you to construct a perimeter, or at least a section of a perimeter - which any way you slice it, equals one amazing table to game on.
What do you think of this multi-level, ready to play terrain?

Look nice, although prices are frankly absurd. Over £50 for the small stone house and £75 for the tudor house.
Makes me wonder what they would cost unpainted. Maybe more companies should offer both options?
Wow! Absolutely beautiful, especially the castle.
But alas, way too expensive, even for the more basic stuff.
I have a limited budget to spend on games so sadly I could never justify signing up.
I hope it works out for them though – they’ve obviously put tremendous time and effort into this project.
Looking great but yeah, would be interesting to know the price without the pre-painting
I like the Stone House. 🙂 Very customisable.
This stuff looks great. I think it would work amazing as a city perimeter wall for the 4 ground mordenheim stuff. Although its cost means I will never find out exactly how awesome it would look…
looks good but as others have said expensive.
The full set is just shy of €1,300. Which works out cheaper than the 40K city wall Forgeworld released quite a few years back (Don’t think it’s available anymore). Detail isn’t nearly as good but it’s pre-painted and for something of that size, that really is a lot of time saved. My only issue is that castle walls have a limited use. The gateway and towers could be worked into a variety of battlefields but a giant castle will just swallow most of your board. It’s far too big for any skirmish level games and all of the corridors are… Read more »
Greetings, all! You have Spoken, and Epix Haven have Listened…! We have now lowered the price on ALL of our models by 15%! How could we do this? Well, we had a long talk with our manufacturer on the possibility of offering unpainted models; this is something you guys here at Beast of War have mentioned! They could not give us a precise answer about unpainted models, but we did manage to negotiate a better deal overall, and our models now have a lowered cost! Enjoy!
