We get into the nitty gritty surrounding the Combined Army, one of the rather cool looking factions in the game packed with alien life.
Are these your faction of choice?
Looking for the next infinity week, do someone know when is coming?

My faction’s nemesis: the combined army… Go human sphere!
Played against these in a demo. They are a good good faction.
The combined army (alongside the nomads to a lesser degree) are a faction where the fluff really does draw me in.
Badass scary aliens combined with a really cool high science fiction concept – an artificial intelligence which has overthrown its creators, and set about conquering other species with the ultimate goal of transcending the material universe in order to avoid it’s ultimate heat-death.
Could be from the pages of an Ian M Banks novel.
Isn’t that the ALEPH faction? I’m not to savvy on the Infinity fluff so excuse me if I’m wrong.

I like the multiple species thing that the combined have going.
It reminds me a little of XCOM, which is always good.
