Forge World Show Off More Warped Chaos Creations
June 15, 2015 by brennon
Forge World have shown off some more creations that are coming your way. Fans of the powers of Chaos will be overjoyed at not only seeing a warp-twisted monstrosity but also a Knight Paladin that has sworn itself to the powers of the Warp...
Twisted By Chaos
This particular character is going to be another addition to the Horus Heresy Character Series and comes as part of a full set of miniatures. My thinking is that he's probably going to be the 30k equivalent of a Possessed Squad in regular old Warhammer 40,000...
I particularly like the twisted Daemon sword he is carrying made out of all kinds of spiky bits. It reminds me a lot of Soul Edge from the Soul Calibur series in it's look and design; a living blade.
Pledged To Chaos
As well as the possessed warrior we got a glimpse at the deadly looking Knight Paladin who has been pledged to the forces of Chaos. I think this is a great looking add-on kit allowing you to twist and warp the Imperial armoury.
As much as I like Black Templars I think it's always quite fun to be the bad guys in Warhammer 40,000 and I love the corrupting influence that Chaos has on the Imperials. So, seeing something like this is certainly in the right ball park and I think the additional skull mask for the helmet makes it work even better.
What do you think?

That does look rather cool. Chaos always seem to have better looking stuff.
The ‘twisted by chaos’ marine is fantastic. Bits busting out everywhere – love it!
Looks good, certainly better than stumpy legs…
The possessed marine was previewed at the Warhammer World reopening. He’s part of a character set featuring the Word Bearer Zardu Layak and his Blade Slave retinue, rules for which are in the fifth Horus Heresy rule book…. and he’s lovely 🙂
Hoe about the legs ? are they too short ? Too long ?
Yep, FW usually does a god job.
Those are rather good.
That chaos guy looks great. Don’t care for the sword much, obviously. And the price…?
the Chaos titan looks brilliant.
The Chaos guy is amazing! I would buy that as a painting project
rarely seen such dynamic in a space marine, if that was standard it would be really cool .. its like a peice of 30k/40k artwork translated well into a mini. well done
It’s actually quite rare that the minis look as grim and forbidding as the universe the artwork creates but you’re right, this guy nails it.
Loving the Marine. The quality of the sculpting for mutated and possessed marines has leaped forward. I still have the old metal ones lying in a box and they were so cartoonish I wrote them off as unusable. Even the plastic kit that followed wasn’t as good as this.
