Dungeon Saga Tomes Arrive From Mantic Games

Dungeon Saga from Mantic Games is starting to arrive in bulk with some amazingly special looking packaging. Yes, these 'books' below are the boxes that you get your copy of Dungeon Saga inside. That's awesome!
I got to see this when I was at the UK Games Expo alongside some awesome stuff including their Dragon model. The set looks like a lovely kit ready for people to just pick up and get started with when it comes to dungeon delving.
What's Inside?
While the packaging is nice I think you still want to know what's inside. Well, Mantic have already shown off what should be inside the set with this rough content spread below.
It's hard to suppress the giddy feeling inside when you see tiles, awesome heroes, cool monsters and all those extra bits and pieces that make dungeon crawling such a fun pursuit on the tabletop. Hopefully it won't be long till it's in stores and we'll be able to play it in its full glory.
Interestingly Ronnie Renton of Mantic has expressed interest in getting the game out into stores like Waterstones and I think it could be a really good fit. A game sitting ready to go that looks as impressive as that could well be a winner for them.

So looking forward to this game, I backed it in Kickstarter and it looks better everytime Ronnie does a post on it.
So gald I went the whole hog on kickstarter for this. All I have to do is figure out a way of swapping these tomes with the wife’s Take That and Robbie Williams autobiographies without her noticing. I don’t think my idea of “well I think they add gravitas to our living room” excuse will cut much mustard with her!
Missed the KS on this one due to other projects but this is still high on my radar

I have resisted Mantic for so long but this time they may finally catch me. Can’t wait to see the full game and especially the minis
I played this at Games Expo and really enjoyed it. we got our a$$es kicked by the DM but it went to the wire. There are some nice little touches that make it a lot of fun.
I am looking forward to the BoW Unboxing..
In the meantime I’ll be giving Frostgrave a go.

That “box” looks very nice…and the content even better….so waiting to get my hands on this one! So sad that I did not have the funds to go all the way back then…but I guess the base stuff will keep me going for a while.
