Bolt Action Boot Camp: Sunday
Our Own Pegasus Bridge
You've heard all about it from John earlier but it really is one of the heroic moments from World War II. See how we mocked up our Pegasus Bridge assault in all its glory before our wargamers got stuck into it.
We had a lot of fun putting together this board and John is very proud of it! We might have taken a few liberties with the combatants...and the bridge charge, but other than that enjoy!
The board is great. Easily used asome square in a set
Thanks for all your efforts sharing the boot camp with those of us not physically present. It made for a great vicarious weekend.
It is a superb table. Really well done.
looks great
very nice
I love it. I enjoyed the videos leading up to the boot camp as well. The ones describing the techniques used to create the tables. Great tips and tricks. Thank you.
I had some doubts about that water in the earlier video but on the table, it looks good.
Very nice table. You guys can be prout of it.
What a great table and lovely painted minis.
Awesome representation of Pegasus Bridge. Both the bridge and the miniatures are beyond epic. 😀
What a great model. I’ve looked at some laser cut versions, but can’t tell you how impressed I am at the finished product you guys made. Just wow
I would love to have a go on that, I still remember “that” scene in the movie.
Fantastic guys! Missed this afternoon due to a trip to A&E, but you guys did another great weekend. Sleepy-time soon…
Supurb pictures. The bridge looks even better with painted miniatures.
Hold until relieved, hold until relieved. You have got to take you hats off to that generation.
Ah, this, coupled with the recent reshowings of Second World War films like the Great Escape and Anzio (it is a Bank Holiday after all) is giving me the WWII Itch. CoD and Medal of Honor help in these times, but I really should get into games like Bolt Action and DUST. Think of the tank battles!
I thought the guy at Arnhem had an umbrella, or was that just in the movie? (yes, another “A bridge too far” reference)
“We haven’t the proper facilities to take you all prisoner!”:-)…great
very, very nice, much want!
That board is a beauty!
If only I had a room in my home, just for terrain…
A wonderful board!
It’s a really nice table layout.
Thanks for the show for those of us that can’t make it
great program guys way to work so hard to make this fun even for those that couldn’t be there.
