Another nice video to get a feeling of the man fighting in wwII and the uniforms and materials they used. Great!
That is why I love reconstruction groups 🙂
Very nice. A great addition to normal wargaming vids.
This weekend is turning out to be one of the best wargaming events in Northern Ireland. Excellent.
It is great to see the real gear and listen to someone who knows the nitty-gritty of using it, even as a re-enactor – I think Warren should test the hobnail boots on tiles experiment, all in the spirit of investigation of course 🙂
Now, this was informative
I really want some red devils to support my royal marine force.
Another great breakdown of period uniform.
Great stuff. I know all this sort of information is in books if you look hard enough, but you never get the impression of colours and wear and tear that you do from these videos, great stuff!
Think you summed it up perfectly with “Fascinating”
Very educational.
id just like to say how wonderful it is having these extra videos of the uniforms and equipment as it really sets the scenes . have always loved the lee enfield rifles so much better than the shite guns of today as for the left handers just issue them sten or bren guns
So at the Infinity bootcamp, are they all going to be wearing skinsuits?
Be a sight to see…the last sight you see, going blind a likely result.
a bit of a history lesson with your bolt action games
The .303 is a great rifle to fire.
Actually the only rifle i managed to group my shots with under a 2 euro piece at 700 meters.
(my eye sight isn’t the best, neither am I trained to be an actual marksman)
I have a vintage .303 and that 1500 yard peep sight is awesome. At that range you’re lobbing the rounds in.
these are just fantastic
Gotta love the Red berets! My favorite unit by far!
I agree with Warren. It is extremely fascinating. I am happy you all shared the explanation of the British para uniform. Again, I sound like a broken record. This will help me with the Canadian paras I am building. From what I have found the uniforms are quite similar as they were common wealth and tried to keep the armies similar in gear. I am all gitty now 🙂
Thanks guys
Red Devils, 30 Core is still coming!
Great uniforms.
Just splashing on colors then=)
Very nice!
A brilliant informative video.
sterling stuff!! These videos add so much to the whole experience!
Good stuff 🙂
GO TO IT! 😉
