Stunning. There used to be one on the farm when I was 12ish. It can climb up almost anything. That is a work of art. D.x
awesome jeep, clean as a ‘whistle’ 😉
Great looking jeeb and great to see the details on it and the thought of doing this video for that purpose.
roof can go down but as he lives in northern Ireland it never is
Lovely
Wonderful Jeep… Love this Boot Camp, sitting here and paint some Guild Ball Brewers, watching the Videos… thx guys
A great wee vehicle – one of the 3 things that was said to have helped win the war in fact. No army, air force, marines, or even naval force can operate without logistical support. The jeep was the ultimate utility vehicle for getting people and stuff anywhere they were needed.
Now that is awesome. Thanks for all the info.
How cool is that? 🙂
So iconic, that canvas roof shape and grill, thanks for bringing her in and taking us round john -she’s beautiful.
Very nice. Although I personally like John’s tank better. Does he still have it?
Great to see such an iconic vehicle.
Need help painting a Jeep look no further than the real thing! Awesome.
Is the “I bought a jeep!” Ad in Ireland? Cause that joke must’ve been said otherwise
When I began painting up allied vehicles I came across the issue of almost everything just being green (or Brown Violet in my case) to the point of them only being like two colors not counting decals. I made the decision to go a with a splash of color just as you said to make the model pop a little more even.
awesome
Thanks for the tutorial; very helpful.
It’s cool they showed the jeep. My list will be featuring 3 of them.
This is very interesting, love to see more of those kind of videos with replica/original vehicles show
that was very helpful.
i though of a commet to post but i thought that just push the Tanker line a bit to far lol
What I want to know is, is that a huge gash on John’s face? And if so, what’s the story behind that bad boy???
Love the real vehicles for comparison!
@johnlyons @warzan @dignity Thank you for the video, really breaking down the markings and colouring helps me out ten fold. I am impressed John. You and your father did a wonderful job. Thank you again.
Oh, and change the numbers on that jeep.
Wrong war movie but still happened a lot in wwii.
Really love this stuff and the uniforms, need to put some colors on my 1/285 ww2 stuff…
