Cavatore Shows Off The Bullet Riddled T-1000 For Terminator Genisys
May 19, 2015 by brennon
Over on the Terminator Genisys Miniatures Game Facebook Group Alessio Cavatore posted up a render for the T-1000 (War Against The Machine) by the team at River Horse which is looking bullet riddled and as deadly as it ever was!
As you can see it is a little more armed and armoured than the one you might have seen dressed as a police officer in the older films. It's still going with the blade arm as one of its weapons but it also touts a flamethrower for burning out Resistance fighters.
It's neat that we're seeing more models already popping up for the game as it means we've hopefully got a good strategy going forward for expanding the game beyond that first core box.
What do you think of this blasted soldier?

looking better and better.
Nice touch. I assume this is the John Connor T-1000.
Nice!!!
Looking good… but isn’t there a problem with the legs, though ? Either proportions or position.
He’s liquid metal. Maybe he’s stretched his legs to run faster, or maybe he was sort of deformed by the bullet strikes and is in the process of oozing back to human shape!
… I think he’s just wearing his trousers too low, like all those young hoodlums and their noisy music 😛 ha ha
on a more serious note, the sculpt is looking quite nice 🙂
and the resemblance to Lee Byung-hun is very striking indeed 🙂
after seeing the plastics in my own hands at salute ,I’m getting quite exited to see how this turns out 🙂
Like the details.
Yeah, that’s a good depiction of a T-1000. Personally I am excited for this game and would love to own a proper Terminator army with lots of T-800 endoskeletons backed up by the HK-tanks and HK-drones. The films never really showed much of the actual war, so the game seems a good place to do the kind of stuff I want to see. Love the visual of resistance fighters hopelessly clashing with swarms of endoskeletons!.
That’s a T-1000 from the War Against The Machines, which was posing as a resistance soldier before being revealed (by a dog, probably…) and shot up… and thus is equipped with a plasma rifle (not a flamethrower) and mimicking the Resistance’s customary flak armour…
“I bet you think you’re pretty smart huh? Think you can outsmart a bullet?….. oh you can. Bugger. Erm…..” 😉
