Daemons Ready for Pre Order
July 22, 2010 by warzan
The second wave of Daemons is now ready for preorder (Get them here on the GW Official Site - or try clicking the check your prices buttons).
So lets get a look at these bad boys.
First up we have the Daemon Prince, the metal one was a bit of a pain to build but this plastic kit looks fantastic.
One more pic of this guy and my personal favoutite ;o)
Next up we have the Kairos Fateweaver, Oracle of Tzeentch, in metal but good to see it finally make it's way out of forgeworld!
Bloodcrushers of Khorne, great to finally see these guys in plastic.
I like to think of myself as someone whos not laking in imagination, but i cannot bring myself to like the Pink Horrors of Tzeentch, I hate that they are well ... pink!!! Yes i know i could paint them a different colour but they wouldn't be Pink Horros then ;o) However anyone else think there are conversion possibilities to make genestealers of a different nature with these?
I just know that our own Daemon John is going to love these Seekers of Slaanesh, he really is a Slaanesh kind of guy when you get to know him!
So guys what's the verdict on this second wave, have GW missed anything you were hoping to see in plastic? Are these new models swinging any of you guys over to the powers of Chaos?

isn’t kairos in metal?
Yes it is, check GWs site
My bad guys!
Was writing while looking at wrong model and forgot to fix before publishing thanks for the spot! :o)
they needed to make plastic plague bearers!!! that would have been great.
PLAGUEBEARERS! Poor neglected little nurglings *sniff* At least we have a plastic deamon prince.
And those pink horrors are screaming “Hive Mindless Tyranids” at me. Maybe use them when a bunch of genestealers goes instinctive. Ad the heads onto other Nid bodies for same effect with different units.
There are about 10 heads in the Seekers of Slaanesh kit. I think that the spare heads will be great for a unit of Daemonettes. Hair flying everywhere!
Personally I just don’t like the new style of daemons they’re releasing. They all look goofy going back to the schism between the two chaos codex’s. I do like the daemon prince being more customizable though however due to the new look of them all in general I’ll just stick with my current one.
I love the new Daemon Prince and now that the Blood Crushers are affordable they will be making it into my Daemons list. I already have a crap load of metal horrors but it is nice to see them in plastic. I will also be picking up the Changling as well as Fateweaver.
I love the Deamon prince, i have been say it for ages that this needed to be in plastic, oooooh this might just temp me back into the ruinous powers 😉 and my bring my iron warriors up to date.
So I’m really not a fan of the faces (or more correctly, bodies) on the plastic Horrors, I much prefer the manic and turbulent nature of the previous metal incarnation. Although these new plastic ones do at least have some fluidity to the motion implied by the sculpts, even if they have silly faces. Also, the Seekers of Slannesh just look completely ridiculous and unnatural (not in the good way) sat bolt upright in their saddles, they really should have been posed more akin to the previous metals. Other than that, I like the Daemon Prince, although GW could have… Read more »
Sorry guys and girls ;( Totally off topic here. I will understand if you will hit me very hard but the more people know about this the better.

It’s a petition about a sick ways in Ukraine when dealing with dogs. I just saw it on TV and I couldn’t believe what I’ve seen. There are some movies on youtube but be mindful – they are very sick.
Once again sorry for this reply but I couln’t help it

I recently finished putting together the plastic Seekers and painting up the Daemon Prince for at local GW, and quite frankly I was impressed. Originally I thought the seekers were the just chicken snakes, now I know they are cool chicken snakes. Although the banner is only connected by a really week join in the arm and is going to snap first chance it gets. As for the prince, he’s a really nice model, plenty of variation in the kit considering the size of it. Also loads of fun to paint, lots of room for advanced techniques, but a base… Read more »
does any1 else thik the second dmon price down looks like its giveing the middle finger? tut tut i told him sighn language swearing wasnt good! 😛
i still love the fact that the daemon prince was meant to be with us a long while back but some plank in GW dropped the master mold xD
That’s it’s index finger.
daemon prince is very cool indeed one model i would by just to have
i’m gonna get the plastic deamon prince :). And the blood crushers. I’m gonna convert thunderwolf cavalry from those models. was planning to do that with the metal one’s, but plastic models is easier the build ;).
Pretty good release I think bloodcrushers are so cool I don’t collect demons but I would love to have those models. They were very pricy in metal so this is good. Also about time a plastic demon prince came, they will sell a lot of those. Also liking the seekers of slaanesh though as said above they could probably look more dynamic (compare them to boar boyz for example).
Yep plaguebearers need doing in plastic, I hate their current metal models.
I must say I’m enjoying painting the Daemon Prince model for my local GW.
Like the idea of the plazzy Bloodcrushers, but, at that price you are almost as well off buying the metal ones.
hell yea these models making me convert to chaos 😀
thinking of doing a chaos biker army with bloodcrushers instead of bikes XD
muhahahaha
Too bad I already bought a bunch of those metal Bloodcrushers. The seekers look strange.. When’s the last time you sat on your horse like that? I’ve got a bunch of the old Horror models, which I like, so I won’t buy the new ones.
Anyway, I will definitly pick up the Changeling. Gorgeous model!
Personally, the horrors are all too similar to each other. A plastic kit should allow loads of variations, which are “somewhat” necessary for horrors, which are supposed to be constantly changing (oxymoron there 😀 ) and never the same as each other… I feel that the kit had a lot of potential and REALLY missed the mark here, but it could just be me. The Daemon prince is looking good and with an extra set of legs or some greenstuff vortexing or something, you can squeeze two out of the box. For £20, it’s actually a supreme bargain from GW… Read more »
I forgot the Changeling. This is the model on which they missed out on the most potential. I love the picture of the Changeling like that, but as for a model, they could have melded some together and had a maelstrom of change surrounding it or had it mutating into a rhinox and a giant and a dragon and all sorts… Might be a nice herald, but I shall stick with my converted Changeling to be honest.
i LOVE THE BLOOD CRUSHERS THEY LOOK REALLY NICE TEMPTED TO BUY SOME 🙂
hmm blue scribes plastic plague bearers maybe some actual herald models
I’ve just started playing fantasy after years away from the the hobby. I used to play 40k. I bought empire battalion, 3 captains, plastic battle mages, 2 cannons, outriders and archers. Then I see these brilliant looking models and I’m so tempted to start a daemon army!
I was thinking about maybe getting some for 40k so I can play both games. I’d imagine the army plays pretty much the same in fantasy as 40k, am I right?
I’ve just started fantasy and because of the prince I’m going to help the dark gods!!!
Daemon Prince looks incredibly stylish
they cud of included a nurguly type of demon prince wit the new plasic kit.
