I was thoroughly impressed with rules shown last year, and i didn’t expect the ships to be so big. That would be an excellent participation game; wish i was there.

Wow. I didn’t even know this was a thing.

I’d have preferred the original series style models (just my age, that is ‘my’ Galactica), but that is rather stunning.

I guess fleet battles are a thing again now. Shame GW ditched theirs I guess.

The Cylons are the original series style.

Starwars, halo or battle star. The choices get even harder

That looks awesome but those ships are going to take up far to much shelf space.

I’ve not seen this before and it looks fraktastic! Ship scales and quantities of vipers and raiders on the board really make it attractive – demo games posted up yet? Must look!

Does this blend the “old” BSG with the “new”? Those raiders are from the original TV show. I *think* the other models are from the more recent SCI-FI show. Could be wrong.

I think all the models are from the original show. The Battlestars looked very alike between the old and the new. I would kill to see some new show models though!

This participation game is set during the first Cylon War as referenced in the new series, so the Basestars are the same as in the old show while the Battlestars are new. The booklet we did for the game can be downloaded here for free:

Me wants, me wants.

Love it if you cover this in more detail. A weekender maybe or even its own show. Pretty please.

I know someone who’s going to be buying this… I’d personally prefer a 28mm skirmish game

The BSG element is homebrew and an example of what can be done with Full Thrust. Mechworld have put the rules and stats up on their website but you’ll have to provide your own ships.

The best bit was cutting the corners off the reference sheets!

Those ships are huuuge… I’ve not watched the show at all, but I’d guess that they are scale?

Not a big fan of Battlestar Galactica, but that table is rather impressive! Nice “miniatures” xD

The cylons are the old Revell kits, no longer in production. You can find them on ebay sometimes.

I’ve been watching on the http://www.mechworld.de/ facebook page and such. I ran across Full Thrust as I was perusing the long catalog of Games it Would Be Cool to Have a couple of months ago. This whole thing stands up as a wonderful example of what can be accomplished with free rules and a lot of creative initiative. Wonderful layout, if well beyond my capacity to do on my own. Stunning!
