Salute 2015 Live Blog: The Days Fun
Chatting with the Dice Bag Lady!
The Dice Bag Lady brings possibly the most colourful stall I have ever seen to Salute! She's stocking her amazing, hand crafted Dice Bags, plenty of original merchandise and her very own Baggy miniature to the show!
It was really good to see her absolutely surrounded by people picking up their pre-orders and various goodies.
Those dice bags, though not my cuppa tea do look very cool… I prefer a battered leather bag…
The best Smush company name ever! A true artisan. Love her stuff.
There is a bag for my Blood Angels! How did I not know about this?
I really like her realistic female miniature thing she has going too, a great idea.
Those are some rather lovely looking dice bags. Want one!
Me too and I heard Warren mention to comment in topics to win prizes.
Whoda thunked it. A business making dice bags;)
I don’t think I could get a Deadpool dice bag, the constant sarcastic witicisms regarding my inept dice handling would crush me… lol!
every dice needs a bag to sleep in at night
Would love to see these in person, though from here they look like a great addition to bolt action or a pathfinder meetup.
What a wonderfully different approach to running a hobby-related business. Great props to her for placing an emphasis on believable female minis too – a great way to appeal to more people who are seeing more and more strong female characters in popular fantasy and sci-fi and might want to game with figures more representative of this as a result. Bravo!
I agree.
Also really nice to see the event being covered by a Beasts of War team that’s a bit more diverse than you might expect. It can only be good for us to both open the hobby up to more people and make it look more like we’re open to everyone.
This is what our hobby is all about and Annie is such a lovely, friendly person.
Baggie & Annie, a true team
Love the dice bags. Great work
Great company to buy from got a good deal on a saga starter army.
I’d love to see more about the mentioned realistic female models
I’m sorry! It was another one of those stalls that was impossible to get to for any decent amount of time for photos! I’m mad at myself for not getting any good ones of her range! I’m sure Annie would love to point you in the right direction! I’ll bump her 😀
Picked up a Squiddly to hold my ever growing collection of Steve Jackson’s C’thul’hu Dice…
The dice bags do look great.
I loved these
being a long term customer of Annie’s it’s great to see her doing well.
