Painting Competition Winners Collect Their Trophies
A selection of the painting competition winners collect their trophies... in no particular order...
That’s one of the main reasons why I attend Salute is the painting comp, as it’s a chance to meet forums friends. Though this year Im not attending as I have to spend the weekend prepping for a job interview and process the paper work for a trip to China in July.
Like the Sherman diorama.
That is a nice one, I also like the Knights Templar, the early Teddy Roosevelt, and the English Civil War (? – possibly War of the Roses?) line with the yellow and red flags
Looking good so far
King Conan stands out for me – the rest are very well done but that one just has such power and presence. Fabulous work.
Who makes those sci fi figures in the 4th photo in the 13:13 series of photos?
I believe they are from Anvil Industries 🙂
Those paintworks really rocks.
They all look fantasic but I really like the Manticore and the Conan on throne
Wow… nice paint
The Kfz. 251 is a bit unfortunate: beautifully painted, but it could have been far better assembled. The gaps above the flank stowage is a bit odd looking.
Love seeing all the amazing artists skills at painting competitions.
So much to look at… eye watering… in a good way!
Those figures in 13:13 photo four are mine and they are Forge World Drop trooper in front of the Puppet Wars dropship. On a side note…..some of the photos in this blogg are NOT from the Salute painting Competition but from the South London Warlords own display cabinet we had there this year to show off some of the work of our members.
Thanks for the interest.
These are really impressive.
