Roll Like No One Else With Terralith Dice

Grublin Games will be bringing a new project to Kickstarter at the end of the month seeking to create dice like we have never seen before. Roll in style with Terralith.
Grublin are intending to bring out a selection of metal dice that moves players away from the standard Platonic solids, making eye catching gaming aids that don't sacrifice randomisation.
These dice will be available as a full set of seven, or individually, when the Kickstarter goes up on the 28th April.
The designs are definitely eye-catching. In a market that is saturated with novelty dice, these do stand-out as unique.
I think that these Terralith dice look very cool. Rather over the top, sure, but undoubtedly unique in style. My concern though would be that these won't roll quite as well as regular dice with all those pieces jutting out. It's something we will have to wait for the Kickstarter to see for ourselves.

If anyone wants to see a set of these in person then give me a shout at the Salute meet up friday night or on the saturday as i have one of the prototype sets to show off.
Do you know what the rough price is likely to work out as?
For the full set of 7, in one of 8 colours (more can be unlocked if the campaign goes well) it will be roughly £25.
Nice as set a theme very well, but as always with novelty dice my concern is after 3 hours of gaming can I see the number from across the table ?
The main two things in the design process were Accuracy and Visibility, the first thing getting changed after the prototypes were received is that the numbers are being enlarged. As for after 3 hours of gaming well best get yourself a set and find out 😉
Very nice, but it’s still a dice! (die, really)
They’re very nice visually, but I’d probably leave them on the shelf and use regular dice- that d20 in particular will be a P.I.T.A. to read the result from if it’s rolled on anything but a flat surface, and if its something “important” say a rouge’s reflex save against a fireball, you can expect an argument about which side you read etc.
